The meeting was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:00 P.M. at the Town Hall 8 South Main Street, Lyndonville NY

The Orleans County Town Clerk Association presented Yates Town Clerk Brenda Donald with a citation for her years working with the Town and gifts and cards for her retirement.

 

Town Clerk Brenda Donald thanked everyone for their kindness.

 

 

RESOLUTION NO.95-12/15

 

RESOLUTION TO APPROVE MINUTES

 

RESOLVED , to approve the minutes of the  November12,2015   as presented to each Board member.

RESOLUTION NO.  96-12/15

 

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT THE ORLEANS COUNTY OFFICE OF THE AGING FOR USE OF THE YATES TOWN HALL BUILDING SPACE

 

WHEREAS, the Orleans County Office of the Aging has sent an agreement between themselves and the Town of Yates for Building space to be used for the Nutrifare program, be it

 

RESOLVED, the Supervisor is authorized to sign an agreement with Orleans County Office of the Aging for use of the Yates Town Hall, be it further

 

RESOLVED a copy of the agreement will be attached to these minutes.

RESOLUTION  NO.97-12/15

RESOLUTION TO SET YEAREND MEETING

 

Resolved, to set the yearend meeting for December 28,2015 at 10:00 A.M.be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk’s office will close at 10:00 A.M. on the 28th and not reopen until January 4, 2016.

RESOLUTION NO. 98-12/15

 

RESOLUTION TO ALLOW SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT WITH GARY AND SHERIANN DENT FOR MOWING FOR THE YEARS 2016

And 2017.

 

WHEREAS, Gary and Sheriann Dent have done the mowing for the last 3 years , and

 

WHEREAS they have agreed to mow for the years 2016 and 2017 in the amount of $18,500 compensation ,  be it

 

RESOLVED, the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to sign an agreement with Gary and Sheriann Dent for Mowing

Report of Town Officers

 

Dan Wolfe-Code & Zoning- finishing building permits working on safety inspections

 

Roger Wolfe- Highway Superintendent- NYS will be taking over the Snow and Ice control for State Road 63 and 18.

 

Doing tree trimming hooking up water

 

Supervisor Belson stated all call for snow and ice on State Road should be directed to NYS.

 

Councilman Bradley- Friday is the last day survey can be postmarked. I will try and have the total count by our end of the year meeting.  Would also like to extend best wishes to Brenda on her retirement. Would also like to thank John for his many  years with the Town of Yates being Councilman and Supervisor  .

 

Councilman Bentley would also like to extend best wishes to Brenda and John

 

Councilman Whipple-    hopes Brenda will enjoy her retirement   Thanked John

RESOLUTION NO.99-12/15

 

RESOLUTION TO PAY BILLS

 

WHEREAS, bills have been reviewed by the Town Board, be it

 

RESOLVED to pay bills as follows:

DA-Accounts  Highway –     19,569.34    

DB-Accounts  Highway         24,524.61

 TOTAL                         112,731.75
