RESOLUTION NO. 70-8/11
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT
THE MINUTES OF THE JULY 14, 2011 MEETING
RESOLVED, to accept the minutes of July 14,2011 as presented to each
Board Member.

RESOLUTION NO.71-8/11
RESOLUTION TO
AUTHORIZE SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AMENDED AGREEMENT TO EXTEND INDEX LUMP SUM
MUNICIPAL SNOW AND ICE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the State
has notified us that when they prepared the extension documents for the
2012/2013 contract extension
Contract # D009747 and
WHEREAS, the State
has sent a new contract that has been amended to correct the problem which will
change the total from $125,106.29 to $125,582.91 a difference of $476.62., be
it
RESOLVED, the Town of
Yates Supervisor is hereby authorized to sign the amended contract with the
State of New York.

Planning Board
presented some changes to some of the wording for the Zoning Ordinance.
Supervisor Belson
stated that Andrew Meir, Town Attorney will be reviewing amendments
The State has
notified the Town of Yates that the Equalization rate for the Town of Yates is
100% .
Councilman Bradley
commented on a newspaper article that was placed in the Batavia paper by
Resident Paul Lauricella. Councilman Bradley stated that the remark
about the firefighter being afraid of the dark was uncalled for and belittled
our firemen and felt this comment was very disrespectful.
Paul Lauricella, It was not meant to belittle the firemen I have
great respect for them.
Councilman Harmer
stated the lights were being put up for public safety for everyone traveling on
the roads.
Councilman Harmer
asked if there was any progress on Fl 43.
Supervisor Belson
stated that this is a private property owner problem.
