P.M. at the Town Hall 8 South Main Street, Lyndonville NY

Mr Majorowski stated that
due to the audit that was done by the NYS Comptroller he felt we should change
lawyers.
Paul Lauricella asked about the excavater.
Roger Wolfe Highway Superintendent stated that we were offered $35,000 for a trade but we have until the new excavator comes in to try and sell it for more.
Paul Lauze asked when Lakeshore Road will be repaved.
Lynne Johnson our County Legislature stated it is on the list to be redone but has no date as of yet.

RESOLUTION NO.38-3/12
TOBACCO-FREE CEMETERY RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Town of Yates has had problems with persons smoking in the Cemeteries and disgarding cigarette butts on the ground, be it
RESOLVED, that the Town of Yates hereby resolves to have all Town Cemeteries declared 100% Smoke-Free areas.
Be it further
RESOLVED ,there will be signage indicating that the area is 100% tobacco-free

The assessor reported that she is finishing up exemptions for the Town of Yates.
Superintende of Highways stated they are ditching and doing culvert work.
Councilman Bradley stated that the Town will have recycling bins for sale at the Town Hall for $7.00 each.
Legislature Lynne Johnson stated that there is a Veterans discount card available to veterans ,good at some local businesses. These can be picked up at the County Clerk’s Office in Albion.
The Town received 3 junkyard renewal applications. The Town Code and Zoning Officer Dan Wolfe has inspected these Junkyard and certified that they meet the requirements of the Town Zoning.
