Chairman Donald Lamay called the Regular Planning Board Meeting/Public Hearing to order at 7:30 pm, at the Town of Yates, 8 S. Main Street, Lyndonville, NY 14098.

Those Present: Donald Lamay, Chairman of Planning Board

Mark Hughes, Planning Board Member

Dawn Metty, Deputy Clerk

Ralph Smith, Planning Board Member

Larry Wolfe, Resident

Richard Stauffer, Property Owner

Harlan Stauffer, Special Use Permit Applicant

Those Absent: Richard Kurz, Planning Board Member

Ed Urbanik, Planning Board Member

MINUTES:

This is application #01-14 submitted by Harlan Stauffer for a Section 740 Home Business Class A to sell mattresses.

Chairman Donald Lamay spoke with Dan Wolfe. He is ok with the application and has no issues with it.

Chairman Donald Lamay then opened the floor for any comments or questions. There were no comments or questions from the floor.

Chairman Donald Lamay asked Harlan if he was still going to be open about 20 hours a week.

Harlan Stauffer – Yes, some evenings and by appointments.

Chairman Donald Lamay asked if Harlan ran his own propane lines or if the supplier does.

Harlan Stauffer – “I work with them”.

Chairman Donald Lamay asked if the board members had anything to say.

Planning Board member Mark Hughes wished Harlan luck.

Chairman Donald Lamay also gave best wishes and hopes his business does well.

Ralph Smith made a motion to accept Harlan Stauffer’s special use permit application for a Section 740 Home Business Class A to sell mattresses.

RESOLUTION NO. 2-7/14

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT HARLAN STAUFFER’S SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR A SECTION 740 HOME BUSINESS CLASS A TO SELL MATTRESSES.

RESOLVED, to accept Harlan Stauffer’s special use permit application for a Section 740 Home Business Class A to sell mattresses.
