Chairman Donald Lamay mentioned that a verbal request had been brought to his attention to discuss an Alpaca Farm in a waterfront district.

The question was asked…Are they going to be for pets or for sale?

Chairman Donald Lamay went over the the Zoning Regulations and definition of farm animals Sec. 697 Sub. B – One adult or fully grown four-legged domestic-type farm animal per acre.

Next the Planning Board discussed the signs that Brandon Auker, Mark Zimmerman and Kevin Brubacker have up for their businesses.

Brandon Auker and Mark Zimmerman’s signs are ok according to Dan Wolfe.  Kevin Brubacker put up a couple of more signs that may be a problem with the state.

Gary Daum asked – When and who talks to the state about signs on state highways?

It should be the owner…Dan Wolfe will have to let the owner know that he will have to talk to the state in regards to his signs.

Chairman Donald Lamay asked if Dawn Metty the Deputy Clerk had anything for the Board.

I then handed out the brochures for the Training that will be in Albion next month.  I received the list of members that are going to go and will fax it over to Orleans County Department of Planning and Development.
