Chairman, Donald Lamay, called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:10 PM at the Yates Town Hall, 8 South Main Street, Lyndonville, NY 14098.

MINUTES:

As there were not enough members present for a quorum, no voting could be done.

Members discussed the wind energy and new updates.

Paul Lauricella asked members about the benefit of wind energy. John explained the potential impact on taxes and mentioned that no company has approached anyone in the Town.

Don reviewed the Wind Energy Zoning Regulations from the Town of Shelby.

Gary mentioned that the County Planning Board had discussed Shelby’s Wind Energy Regulations before they were adopted.

John was concerned that the lake property setbacks would be addressed in the zoning. Ridgeway will be holding a public hearing to adopt the Wind Energy Regulations on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 7:00pm at the Ridgeway Town Hall.

Members agreed to set up a separate meeting to address the proposed zoning regulations. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2008 at 7:00pm at the Town Hall. The Zoning Board of Appeals members will also be invited for their input.

As there was no further business to discuss, the meeting was closed at 7:40pm.
