called the Regular Planning Board Meeting to order at 7:00 pm, at the Town of
Yates, 8 S. Main Street, Lyndonville, NY 14098.

MINUTES:
Chairman Donald Lamay entertained a motion to accept the minutes from the January 13, 2015 meeting.
RESOLUTION # 3-2/15
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MEETING MINUTES FROM THE JANUARY 13, 2015 MEETING AS PRESENTED TO EACH BOARD MEMBER.
RESOLVED, to accept the meeting minutes from January 13, 2015 as presented to each Board Member.

First on the agenda – Chairman Donald Lamay addressed the floor stating the Planning Board would hear their views but all decisions were in the hands of the Town Board.
John Riggi commented on the Wind and Waterfront Revitalization Act. Would like to educate the Town Board members on property values and stated that the property values will decrease.
Paul Mullane stated that the Town is incorrect in the fact that it has no say in wind power installations.
Anne Smith asked how the Board felt about wind power. We should be going to state legislatures.
Faith Basil encouraged the Planning Board to not advocate their authority.
Bonnie Hartway’s son lives in Bliss. He would not allow wind energy towers in again, if he had his way.
Don Hare asked if the Town considered any loss in revenue.
Dan Wolfe asked what the feeling was over in Barker.
John Riggi – They need the money. People signed up for the power plant and now it’s closed.
The floor – Some people knew nothing in Barker at the lake. Once the summer people come back, they will.
Paul Mullane fears that there will be animosity within the Town if goes through.
John Riggi it’s not just property value and birds, its other things as well that will be affected.
Paul Mullane told the board that he appreciates the Planning Board listening and allowing them to educate us on this matter.
Chairman Donald Lamay asked if anyone had anything else regarding windmills.
There was nothing else.
Chairman Donald Lamay asked Dan Wolfe if Vernon Yoder submitted his site plan.
Dan Wolfe – Yes
Chairman Donald Lamay addressed the board if you are not going to be at a meeting to please inform Dawn.
Chairman Donald Lamay asked Steve Freeman about the LED lighting issues that went to the county.
Steve Freeman – Going to put regulations on them. Ridgeway passed it already. (See sheet)
Paul Lauricella asked what is wrong with them.
Ralph Smith – At night could cause blindness due to the brightness.
Dan Wolfe – They don’t want a distraction because of the brightness and the text is too fast. Want to lower the brightness and slow the text down.
Dan Wolfe let the board know that there will be a site plan review for Dobbins. Want to build a cold storage on Millers Rd. and Jonas Miller is having problems with people finding his store. He is asking about more signs.
